Peaceful demonstrations have their time and place, but demonstrations against the results of our presidential election are not among them. We are not a Third World country. Demonstrating against Donald Trump having been elected our next president is akin to demonstrating against 60 million of our own friends, neighbors, relatives and fellow Americans. Half of the people in this country voted for Trump, either because they wanted him to be president, or they didn’t want Hillary Clinton to be president. The other half voted for Clinton for exactly the opposite reasons. Get over the fact that your candidate lost and work for change that will produce a winner for you four years from now.
By the way, I did not vote for Trump.
