It will be sunny with temperatures rising into the 70s the first part of the week, but chilly weather is just around the corner for the Denver metro area.
The high on Monday is expected to be around 70 degrees, according to projections by meteorologists at the National Weather Service in Boulder.

Then on Tuesday and Wednesday the highs could be 76 and 75 degrees respectively, the NWS predicts.
It will be breezy on Tuesday with wind gusts as high as 24 mph.
It could start to rain by Thursday. There is a 30 percent chance of rain in the Denver area, NWS meteorologists forecast.
The high on Thursday will drop 20 degrees to around 55 degrees.
There is a chance of snow in Denver Thursday night, when temperatures dip to about 26 degrees. The weather is expected to be blustery.
The high temperature on Friday will be around 46 degrees, the NWS predicts. At night the temperature will drop to about 21 degrees.
Temperatures will begin to rebound on the weekend under mostly sunny skies, with a high of 51 degrees on Saturday and and high of 61 on Sunday.
