Denver should heat up slightly from this morning’s low of 16 degrees, reaching a high around 40-45 degrees in the metro area, according to the National Weather Service.

An NWS spokesman said temperatures should cool down tonight with a low of 32 degrees.

The day is expected to be mostly sunny with some high clouds over the area.
