President-elect Donald Trump said Tuesday that Japanese tech billionaire Masayoshi Son would invest $50 billion in the United States.

Re: Nov. 29 news story.

President-elect Donald Trump has tweeted that those who burn the American flag should perhaps face prison time or lose their citizenship. Well, there you have it. No apparent appreciation for the First Amendment or established law on the matter. One wonders whether by the time, in just a few short weeks, Trump takes the oath of office to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution, he’ll have taken the time to read it. So, remind me again the original intent behind the Electoral College.

I’m not inclined toward burning the American flag; however, I gave four years of service to my country to support the freedom of those who are. I challenge Donald Trump to make the same statement.
