Tuesday’s spring-like temperatures won’t last. As the sun rises Wednesday, temperatures will drop as a cold front moves in from the northwest, forecasters say.
The high temperature Wednesday is expected to be around 49 degrees, but it will drop throughout the day as a brisk northwest wind of about 14 mph cools temperatures to around 29 degrees by 5 p.m., according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.

Wednesday night the low temperature will be around 17 degrees, the NWS says.
The high on Thursday will be around 38 degrees under partly sunny skies.
A warm up begins on Friday, when the high will be around 49. Saturday — Christmas Eve — is expected to be sunny with a high of 53 degrees.
But forecasters say there’s a chance Christmas Day will turn white. Rain is expected to begin before 11 a.m., but it could turn to snow later in the day, the weather service says.
