Don’t worry, clouds won’t get in the way of your tonight.

New Year’s Eve should be mostly clear with lows in the lower 20s Saturday night, National Weather Service spokesman Kyle Fredin said.

Saturday should be sunny during the day with highs in the lower 40s, he said. New Year’s Day should be warmer with highs in the upper 40s and lows in the lower 20s.

For those wanting to ring in the new year on the slopes, the mountains should have highs in the upper 20s and lows tonight between 5 and 15 degrees. There is a chance of snow on New Year’s Day.

Brace yourselves, though. A to begin Monday with a high at a freezing 32 degrees, with temperatures getting steadily colder by midweek. There is a 10 percent chance of snow on Monday as well as chances on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs drop down to around 10 degrees for the remainder of the week.
