A 37-year-old man was wanted in Pueblo on suspicion of firebombing a police vehicle there, authorities say.
Christopher Betz was wanted on several warrants when he was shot during a confrontation at 8 a.m. Wednesday on the 7500 block of Broadway. The Adams County Sheriff’s Office says Betz, who was found wounded in a hallway, was one of three men who went to the apartment for an unknown reason.

Sgt. Jim Morgen, a sheriff’s office spokesman, said Friday he didn’t have more information on the shooting to release.
Betz is accused of vehicle on Dec. 13. He was being sought by the city’s Safe Streets FBI Task Force.
