In regards to the picture of piles of office furniture being discarded from the State Capitol on the front page of your January 8 edition, where is all of this furniture going and why is new furniture needed?

I am employed by a public entity in the state of Colorado and I can assure you we function with quite antiquated furniture. If we are unable to fund roads, education, etc. in this state, then why is new furniture in the Capitol a priority?
