A truck driver was sentenced Thursday to 20 years in prison for a shooting at an Adams County truck stop.
Byron Wayne Linton, 64, was sentenced for attempted second-degree murder and first-degree assault after being in November, according to an Adams County district attorney’s news release.
Linton shot Keith Williams, 24, of Denver on Oct. 29, 2015, at the Sapp Brothers truck stop in Commerce City.
Adams County District Judge Don Quick imposed a 20-year prison term followed by five years of parole.
