The Federal Aviation Administration has slowed operations at Denver International Airport because of Monday morning’s snowstorm, officials say.

“We are expecting a general slowdown at DIA this morning,” said Health Montgomery, DIA spokesman.

He said all aircraft are being de-iced before taking off.

Montgomery said despite the delays there have not been a significant number of flight cancellations.

He recommended that people check flight schedules before going to the airport.
