Denver police are investigating after a pedestrian was seriously injured while trying to get into a vehicle that was struck while stopped in a traffic lane at Arapahoe and 20th streets early Sunday.
The accident happened at 2:06 a.m., said Doug Schepman, police spokesman. The victim was taken to a hospital.
“We are still looking into how this crash happened,” he said.
