It is good to see peaceful protests. Our country is at its best when people speak out and support what they feel is best for the country. But as they say, talk is cheap. I have some suggestions. They’re simple things really, to show us all that you really support your issue. If you protest fracking or pipelines, perhaps you should give up your use of oil, or at least find a way to the protest that doesn’t use oil.
If you protest the election, perhaps you should consider supporting your candidate, maybe even vote next time. And if you are opposed to controlling borders, perhaps you should leave your own front door unlocked. Advertise that everyone is welcome to enter at any time without restriction. Just to be safe, put up a notice stating that your new visitors are entering a criminal-free zone. That will keep the bad people out for sure.
