He didn’t mean to. On Feb. 14, Lakewood police responded to Wells Fargo, 7950 W. Alameda Ave. on a report that a man had been sleeping in the bank and then urinated on the wall outside. The suspect was contacted leaning against the wall and told police he “didn’t mean to” pee against the wall. The bank manager had found the suspect sleeping in a cubicle at the bank and saw him urinate outside.

Firefighter threatened. A man was arrested Feb. 17 after police were called to West Metro Fire Station 1, 6401 W. 14th Ave., because of a man threatening a firefighter. The suspect was contacted and continued to yell obscenities at both police and firefighters. The suspect had taken off his shirt and one shoe during the incident. He was taken to jail and continued to yell obscenities at police.

Disturbance at hospital. On Feb. 18, police responded to a disturbance at St. Anthony’s Hospital, 11600 W. 2nd Place, where a suspect was fighting with staff. When police arrived, staff was attempting to restrain the suspect. After the suspect calmed down, police learned that the man was about to leave the hospital, but staff had suspected he was doing drugs in the bathroom. The suspect believed he was assaulted during the incident, but the suspect was cited and released.

Intoxicated parties contacted. Police responded to a disturbance Feb. 14 in the 7600 block of West Colfax Avenue involving four intoxicated people. One of the intoxicated women had called police and said she was assaulted by one of the men. When contacted, the woman denied being assaulted and shouted profanities at police. The woman was in a no-trespassing area and was taken into custody on that account.
