A 22-year-old man has been cited for an assortment of charges including drunken driving and speeding after he allegedly rammed a pickup truck into a home and three cars before he took off running.
Monico Morin was arrested following the 12:48 a.m. Monday collision that caused extensive damage to a home on the 4300 block of Centerville Drive, according to a Colorado Springs police report.
When police arrived at the scene, the suspect had already fled, the report says. The residents inside the home were not injured.
Morin allegedly was driving the pickup west on Centerville Road when the pickup hit a parked vehicle, veered into the driveway of a home and smashed into the garage and two vehicles parked inside the garage.
Police found Morin in the parking lot of a convenience store at the intersection of Peterson Road and North Carefree Circle.
