Families can build a fun afternoon at Barnes & Noble on March 11. The bookstore concludes its three-month celebration of “The LEGO Batman Movie” with a free event for young fans of DC’s beloved superhero and LEGO toys. Kids can build the iconic Batmobile Speedwagon out of LEGOs to take home. Participants can also collect limited-edition character trading cards. Participation, as well as event times (from 2 to 7 p.m.), varies by location, so contact your local store for details.

With this deal, Olive Garden really does treat you like family with food to take home. For a limited time, the Italian restaurant is giving customers a free take-home entrée. First, enjoy an entrée (with unlimited homemade soup or garden fresh salad and breadsticks) starting at $12.99. For your dine-in entrée, choose Fettuccine Alfredo, Cheese Ravioli with Marinara, Spaghetti with Meat Sauce or Five Cheese Ziti Al Forno. (You can also select a premium entrée for an additional charge.) Then, pick a second entrée to take home for free, including Fettuccine Alfredo, Cheese Ravioli with Marinara, Spaghetti with Meat Sauce or Five Cheese Ziti Al Forno. There’s no limit per table, so everyone in your party can walk away with take-home meal in tow.
Shake down
Sonic Drive-In is shaking up late night by bringing back its popular summertime offer. For a limited time, after 8 p.m., all shakes and ice cream slushes are 50 percent off. (The promo typically ends around late August.) There are more than 20 flavors from which to choose. New this year, ice cream slushes in grape, blue coconut, orange, cherry, blue raspberry and strawberry — and each shake is topped with whipped cream and a cherry — are included in the offer. Sonic’s menu is divided into Classic and Master shakes. The latter are slightly higher in price because of additional ingredients. With no limit, everyone can get a shake down without breaking the bank.
Stealing bases
Bank on a good time at the ballpark with home-run savings from Wells Fargo. Through Oct. 1, its customers are on deck for two-for-one Club Level tickets at all Colorado Rockies 2017 regular season games. (Blackout dates are April 7, May 8 to 10 and July 3 and 4.) The discounted tickets are only available online with promo code WELLSFARGO. In addition, you must use a consumer or business Wells Fargo debit card for the transaction. There are up to 250 tickets available per game on a first-come, first-served basis. If you don’t bank at Wells Fargo, ask a friend or family member who does to go to bat for you.
