A 17-year-old girl was accidentally shot in the leg late Saturday in Northglenn.
Police say the shooting happened about 9:30 p.m. on the 18000 block of Washington Street. The teen was taken to an area hospital with a non-life threatening wound.
“Officers were advised on scene that the shooting was accidental,” police announced Tuesday. “The incident is currently under investigation by the Northglenn Police Department.”
No arrests have been announced. No additional details about the shooting were released.
