A brisk southwest wind will help boost the high temperature in Denver to around 62 degrees Monday, forecasters say.
Wind gusts of up to 22 mph are expected as is a 40 percent chance of showers Monday night, according to meteorologists at the National Weather Service in Boulder.

The chance for rain increases to about 60 percent Tuesday. The high temperature will be around 52 degrees, the weather service says. The chance for precipitation rises to 80 percent Tuesday night.
Rain is likely before noon Wednesday with a high around 48 degrees. North winds will gust up to 24 mph, the weather service says.
Expect mostly sunny skies Thursday with a high temperature of about 61 degrees.
Rain returns for the Friday forecast. Expect a high of 51 degrees with more rain Friday night.
That precipitation is likely to turn to snow early Saturday as the low temperature drops to around 32 degrees, the weather service says.
Sunday promises to be mostly sunny with a high temperature of around 57 degrees.
