Northglenn police are investigating how a bullet flew into a child’s bedroom early Thursday as gunshots rang out in a residential neighborhood.

The shooting happened about 1:15 a.m. on the 1700 block of Ura Lane.

“Officers were advised several shots were heard in the area,” police said in a news release. “During a search of the area officers discovered a bullet had entered a residence, specifically, a child’s bedroom. No one was injured.”

Investigators say they don’t have any suspect information to share with the public.

The shooting remains under investigation and further details on the case were not immediately released.
