A Longmont man suspected of 24 burglaries of Lakewood businesses has been arrested, police said.

Arthur Angel Lopez, 24, is suspected of multiple burglaries committed from late January to early March, Lakewood police said.

“The majority of the businesses were restaurants but included liquor stores and laundromats,” police said. “Most businesses sustained damage from the forced entries that were made, usually during nighttime hours.”

Lopez, in custody at the Jefferson County jail, faces 24 possible counts of second-degree burglary, police said.
