A Georgia man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of paying a 16-year-old Boulder girl for nude photos and videos in October before blackmailing her by threatening to share the content with her school when she didn’t give him more.
Chandler Lamar Gordon, 23, faces one count of human trafficking of a minor for sexual servitude, one count of sexual exploitation of a child, one count of inducement of commercial sexual activity with a child and one count of disclosing a private intimate image or digital depiction for harassment, according to an arrest affidavit.
Gordon is in custody in the Boulder County Jail on $300,000 bail, court records showed as of Thursday afternoon.
When a Boulder County District Attorney’s Office investigator searched the 16-year-old girl’s phone, he found Gordon’s contact information listed as “Shugger Daddy,” the affidavit says. The phone also had a Venmo payment record for $7 from Gordon to the girl, which included a message from Gordon asking her to send videos of her naked and masturbating with her friend for more money, according to the affidavit.
A search of Gordon’s iCloud account showed 203 text messages between him and the girl, including some that directly ask for nude photos and videos, including immediately after the girl told Gordon she turned him in. Gordon didn’t relent with his requests, and threatened to “show ur mom this or people in ur school” if she didn’t give him what he wanted, according to the affidavit.
He followed that up with, “I’m exposing u,” the affidavit says
Gordon’s iCloud account also had five nude photos and eight nude videos of the girl, and screenshots depicting $70 worth of payments made to the girl for nude content. His account also had 22 images that investigators said may show other nude minors, the affidavit says.
The girl told investigators that Gordon first contacted her through her TikTok account. Her family reported the situation to police after finding the Venmo payment record during a nightly search of her phone, the affidavit says.
Gordon is scheduled for a return-filing-of-charges hearing on Friday in the Boulder County Jail courtroom, court records show.
