Re: April 5 news story.

No, we do not need hard-headed George Brauchler for governor. His district attorney’s office wasted more than $4 million of taxpayers’ money when it refused a plea bargain in the Aurora theater shooting case. This horrific event was played over and over again in the news, reopening wounds as Brauchler’s attention-seeking actions kept the case in the media daily. A plea bargain still would have resulted in the shooter being locked up. But Brauchler wanted the death penalty and fame. No Brauchler for governor. We need someone with common sense.
