Go outside and take a stroll to enjoy the weather Friday. But don’t fret if you can’t sneak away from work as the week’s nice temperatures are expected to stick around for a while.

The Denver metro area should be mostly sunny Friday with highs in the upper 70s and lows near the lower to mid-40s, National Weather Service meteorologist Natalie Sullivan said.

It should get slightly cooler Saturday with highs in the upper 60s and lows in the bottom of the 40s, she said. A sunny day will likely make way for a mostly cloudy night.

Those conditions are expected to carry over to Sunday, which should be partly cloudy with highs around 70 degrees and lows in the mid-40s.

The metro area is looking at similar temperatures for the coming week, Sullivan said.
