A 36-year-old woman was arrested Friday in Englewood for allegedly stabbing another woman in the arm.
The incident happened at about 1:50 p.m. in an apartment complex, 3421 S. Downing St., according to the police department.
When officers arrived they found the 41-year-old victim in a parking lot.
The women had an “altercation” inside an apartment and the incident shifted to the parking lot where the victim was stabbed with an unknown object, police said.
The victim was taken to a local hospital and the suspect was arrested. The name of the suspect was not released.
