Sunny skies Monday will boost temperatures to around 76 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
Wind gusts out of the southwest will reach 21 mph, the weather service says.
On Tuesday, expect a high near 78 degrees.
But then temperatures will drop into the 60s — or lower — for the remainder of the week.
Wednesday will turn windy with gusts up to 30 mph, forecasters say.
A storm system will move into the state on Thursday bringing with it a 40 percent chance of afternoon rain, the weather service says.
Rain is likely on Friday with a high temperature around 52 degrees.
The chance for showers continues Saturday with an expected high in the 50s.
Sunshine is expected to return Sunday with a high of 68 degrees, the weather service says.
