
Actor and producer Wesley Snipes, known for his role in the Marvel Comics trilogy Blade, will speak at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Sloans Lake on July 27 to promote his debut novel, “Talon of God.”
Snipes will appear in conversation with coauthor Ray Norman and , President of Operations at AlamaDrafthouse, which co-sponsors the event along with Tattered Cover Book Store. The novel—tells the story of a holy warrior and a faithless doctor who try and prevent a powerful demon from establishing hell on earth. The fantasy novel will be sold on July 25 through Harper Voyager.
Attendees will receive a signed hardcover copy of the novel. After the book talk, Snipes will introduce a screening of “Blade II.” The in-person screening will be—$40 per person, and there will also be a $35 overflow theater where the talk will be live streamed.
