Mild temperatures predicted Thursday for Denver, Front Range

Light winds and mild temperatures are expected Thursday in Denver and along the Front Range, forecasters say.

The high temperature will be around 83 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.

There is a 10 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms after 2 p.m., but it will be mostly sunny on Thursday.

Temperatures will gradually increase on Friday and through the weekend to the mid- and upper 80s, the weather service says.

Monday’s high is expected to be 89 degrees. There will be a slight chance for afternoon and evening rain Monday through Wednesday, the weather service says. High temperatures will climb to about 91 degrees Tuesday and 92 degrees Wednesday.
