The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department is asking for help locating a suspect who crashed into an 11-year-old child Tuesday morning and drove away.
The child, who was seriously injured in the crash, was struck around 11:30 a.m. in Parker, said Susan Medina, spokeswoman for the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
The gender of the child has not been released.

The suspect was driving a 2016 or 2017 white Lexus CT200 with a black stripe, according to the alert. The car was damaged on the passenger side and the mirror was broken. The car was last seen northbound on Stonegate Parkway heading toward Pine Grove Lane.
