Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper is scheduled to hold a health care town hall next week with Lt. Gov. Donna Lynne.
The Democrats’ event will be Aug. 16 at the Aurora Municipal Center starting at 6 p.m.

Hickenlooper said the event is being held to ensure the public can add its voice to bipartisan efforts to help solve the nation’s health care issues.
Hickenlooper has been working with Ohio Gov. John Kasich and other governors to urge Congress to work on bipartisan health care legislation. He appeared with Kasich to spread that word.
Lynne, a former Kaiser Permanente executive, Hickenlooper said last week that in the election of his successor.
