Even when the sun makes an appearance Tuesday, it won’t get very hot in Denver.
After a cold front moved into Colorado, the high temperature will be only about 73 degrees, or 21 degrees below Labor Day’s high of 94.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Boulder predict it will be cloudy before becoming mostly sunny.
Temperatures will begin to rise Wednesday, when a high of 79 is expected.
For the next four days, the high will be around 86, the weather service says.
There’s a 10 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms on Friday and a slight chance for rain Saturday through Monday, the NWS says.
