Colorado Springs police arrest 16-year-old teen in connection with murder during robbery spree

Two other suspects have also been arrested

A third teen has been arrested in connection with the during a spree of seven robberies, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.

The teen, who is a 16-year-old man from Colorado Springs, was charged with first-degree murder in connection with the fatal shooting of 68-year-old , police say. His name has not been released.

Phinehas Tyree Daniels, 18, and an unidentified 13-year-old have also been charged with first-degree murder. Two others, 18-year-old Dustin Cole Logan and another 16-year-old, have been arrested on charges related to the robbery spree but not the murder.

The criminal investigation is still ongoing.
