Armed robber strikes Centennial bank

Authorities are looking for an armed bank robber who struck Wednesday in Centennial.

The robbery happened at about 11 a.m. at FirstBank, 2323 E. Arapahoe Road, according to a news release from the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force.

The suspect is described as a black woman between ages 20 and 25, about 5-foot-4 with a slender build. The robber was wearing a long-sleeve red sweater, black pants, a wig and sunglasses. She was armed with a handgun.

The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office also is investigating.
