Denver’s skies will be cloudy, then mostly sunny this afternoon

Cloudy skies Thursday morning will give way to sunshine in afternoon in the Denver metro area as temperatures reach the lower 50s, forecasters say.

The high is expected to reach 53 degrees in downtown Denver. It will be windy at times with gusts up to 16 mph, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. The low will be around 29 degrees Thursday night.

It will be sunny and warmer on Friday, with a high of about 59 degrees.

On Veteran’s Day, Saturday, it will be mostly sunny with a high to 58 degrees, the NWS says. It will be sunny with a high of 54 on Sunday.

The first part of next will it will be unusually warm with a high of 66 degrees on Monday and a high of 61 on Tuesday, the weather service says.
