A composite sketch of the suspect in a sex assault on a child in Boulder on Nov. 8, 2017.Boulder police today released a composite sketch of the sexual assault suspect who reportedly near Manhattan Middle School last week.
The suspect was described as a heavyset man in his 30s with long black hair and no facial hair. He was wearing a blue ski jacket and baggy pants and may have had a necklace or keys hanging around his neck.
According to police, the girl had stayed after school on Nov. 8 to meet with a friend at Keewaydin Park, 250 Manhattan Drive, which is located next to the school.
At about 4:50 p.m., she left the park to walk to the East Boulder Recreation Center when a man she did not know came up behind her, grabbed her arm, kissed her and touched her in “an inappropriate manner,” police said.
