The Winter Olympics? In Colorado? Denver Mayor Michael Hancock, what the heck are you thinking?
Can we please first get through the specter of a possible Amazon move to Colorado? Can we find out if the boondoggle Interstate 70 project in north Denver will either kill us or make us stronger? And lastly, before we clog the roads and Front Range air even more, can we please have more attention paid to building more affordable housing? Stop, take a breath, and think about this a bit more.
And while you’re at it, you’d be wise to include some average people in your “statewide committee of influential leaders” so that whoever is deciding this for us Coloradans is not solely “a powerful mix of politicos.” Otherwise this sounds like a Trumpian effort to make a lot of money for a select few.
Oh, former Gov. Dick Lamm, please come back and lead us out of the darkness!
