Major League Soccer released its full 2018 schedule on Thursday.
Colorado kicks off its season at the on March 10. The Rapids’ home opener will take place on March 24 when Sporting Kansas City comes to Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.
The Rapids were originally slated to have their home opener against the on March 3, but Colorado’s participation in the 2018 CONCACAF Champions League forced the change. The Rapids will face Toronto FC in a home-and-home series on Feb. 20 and 27. If Colorado wins, it will advance to the quarterfinals, which take place in early March.
For the second straight year, the Rapids are hosting FC on the Fourth of July. In 21 games on that date, Colorado has compiled a record of 14-4-3.
The defending MLS Cup champion Toronto FC will come to Colorado on April 14.
With the FIFA World Cup taking place in 2018, there will be a league-wide break from June 14-22.
