Norway curling team celebrates Valentine’s Day with heart-themed pants at Winter Olympics

There’s no better match than the Norway men’s curling team and colorful pants.

In honor of Valentine’s Day, the Norwegians donned trousers adorned with heart-shaped patterns on Wednesday in their match against Japan. Unfortunately for Norway, Japan won 6-4.

The tradition of the , according to CNN, when one of the players felt that the team’s black pants were dull.

“The team enjoys it, having these colorful pants,” Lars Otto Bjornland told CNN in 2014. “People find it very exciting to see the team in these trousers.”

The pants must have brought good luck as Norway won silver in 2010.
