An alleged illegal marijuana grow in Fountain uncovered 100 plants and 5.2 pounds of refined, packaged pot.

Police and El Paso County sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant Thursday at a home in the 300 block of South Race Street, according to a news release.

Investigators found 85 large marijuana plants in a detached garage and 15 plants in a family room of the home. Two firearms also were seized, police said.

Rafael Liriano, 52, was arrested, without incident, on suspicion of felony cultivation and distribution of marijuana. He was held at the jail on $10,000 bail.
