The odds of rain increase from a slight chance for rain showers in the morning before 9 a.m., a 70 percent chance of showers in the afternoon to and then just count on it at night. Thunderstorms are also possible. The high temperature will be around 62 degrees.
Severe weather is possible in the Denver metro area, and on the Eastern Plains.
The mountains will get anywhere from 2 inches to 8 inches of snow by Thursday night, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. Heavy snow is expected in the higher elevations.

Rain showers and thunderstorms will continue in Denver on Thursday, when the high temperature will be around 55 degrees. The low will be about 38 degrees Thursday night.
Temperatures heat up on Friday and through the weekend, with highs in the 70s. There’s a slight chance for rain and thunderstorms Sunday afternoon.
