Police are asking witnesses to come forward to help them identify a suspect who shot and killed a male Thursday night inside a Colorado Springs apartment.
Detectives responded to a 9:09 p.m. report of “shots fired” in an apartment in the 100 block of South Academy Boulevard.
When police officers entered an apartment they found the body of a male victim.
“Detectives are interviewing multiple witnesses and processing the crime scene,” Sgt. John Koch wrote in a news release Friday morning. “This is an active criminal investigation.”
No arrests have been reported.
