Intersections were flooded in Fort Collins on Tuesday evening when a fast moving storm tore through the city unleashing hail.

Police on Twitter advised residents not to call the department about flooding issues “unless there is a related emergency.”
We are aware of major intersection flooding throughout town as well as a downed railroad arm at Prospect Ave and Timberline Rd. Please avoid calling strictly to advise of flooding issues unless there is a related emergency we can assist with. Be safe, Foco!

A downed railroad crossing arm at Prospect Avenue and Timberline Road added to traffic and transportation issues.
Denver7 reported that one of the intersections hit hard was Lake Street and Center Avenue on the Colorado State University campus.

Hail was piled high in some areas of the city and some intersections were flooded with a mixture of hail and water. Police blocked several intersections in the city as a safety precaution.
