Deputies are investigating the death of a man found near the Big Thompson River in South Loveland on Saturday night.
The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office, in a press release, said they were notified at 6:18 p.m. Saturday of a deceased person in the wooded area south of the 200 block of Southeast Eighth Street in Loveland. Just less than two hours later, at 8:12 p.m., deputies found the body of an adult man near the river in a wooded area, according to the press release.
Both the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office and the Coroner’s Office are investigating the death and no additional details have been released, including the identity of the man. That information will be released by the Coroner’s Office after next of kin have been notified.
