After morning fog, Denver residents can expect mostly sunny weather Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
Scattered storms are expected later in the day in the foothills, with isolated storms spreading to the mountains and nearby plains. Temperatures are expected to range from 83 to 91 degrees in the plains and 67 to 81 degrees in higher terrain.
Throughout the week, the region will see a cooling pattern with continued locally heavy rainfall and scattered storms.
On Wednesday, temperatures are expected to range from 60 degrees to 89 degrees with a 30 percent chance of precipitation in the afternoon and a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening.
Denver-area residents can expected cooler temperatures on Thursday, ranging from 60 degrees to 78 degrees. The chance of showers and thunderstorms is 40 percent during the day and 30 percent in the evening.
The area will begin to clear up Friday with partly sunny weather and a 20 percent chance of rain. Throughout the weekend, weather will remain partly sunny during the day and mostly cloudy at night. There is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms, with the weather clearing up and becoming mostly sunny on Monday.
Areas of fog and low clouds from Ft Collins/Greeley south through Denver until 9 am. Visibilities under 1/4 mile in a few spots.
