A man was killed and a woman was taken to a local hospital when their motorcycle crashed into a guardrail Monday afternoon on Interstate 70.
The single-vehicle crash happened at about 1 p.m. in Jefferson County, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

The injured woman was taken to St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood. There were no further details on her injuries. The pair were not identified.
Westbound lanes in Mount Vernon Canyon were temporarily closed by the crash. All lanes were reopened by about 2:45 p.m., the state patrol said.
