A suspect has been arrested in connection with a Sunday homicide in Wheat Ridge, police said.
Joshua Kane, 31, is being held on suspicion of first-degree murder, according to police.

Police were called at about 2:30 p.m. Sunday to the 8700 block of West 46th Avenue on a report of a homicide. A woman’s body was found inside a residence.
The name of the victim was not released. “No other suspects are currently being sought in this case,” police said. An investigation is ongoing.
Kane has only one prior arrest in the state, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation database — a 2012 arrest in Northglenn for suspected DUI.
