Weather getting hotter in Denver, temperatures gradually rising through the weekend

Temperatures will climb to the mid 80s on Tuesday under sunny skies in Denver, forecasters say.

The high is expected to reach 85 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.

The warming trend continues Wednesday, with a high of 86 degrees. By Thursday, it could be 93 degrees.

The next chance for rain is on Friday, when there is a 20 percent chance for rain.

It will be hot through the weekend with temperatures in the low 90s Saturday and Sunday, NWS forecasters say.
