Afternoon thunderstorms and rain are possible along the Front Range along with isolated small hail and strong winds, forecasters say.
There is a 20 percent chance for rain showers and thunderstorms in Denver after 3 p.m., according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. The high temperature will be around 88 degrees.

Temperatures will reach the lower 90s by Thursday in Denver. There is a 10 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms Thursday night.
The chance for rain increases on Friday. The high temperature will be around 89 degrees, the NWS says.
Afternoon thunderstorms are also possible on Saturday and Sunday.
Temperatures will climb to the lower 90s Saturday through at least Tuesday, forecasters say.
