Temperatures will be back into the 90s Thursday, with a slight chance of an afternoon thunderstorms and isolated small hailin Denver, forecasters say.
It will be mostly sunny with a high temperature of around 92 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. There is a 10 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms before 9 p.m. Wind gusts could reach 50 mph.
There will be a much better chance for rain on Friday afternoon. It will be mostly cloudy and the high temperature will be around 87 degrees, forecasters say. There’s a 30 percent chance of rain showers Friday afternoon, the NWS says.

Hot temperatures are expected this weekend, with highs of 92 on both Saturday and Sunday. There’s a 10 percent chance of rain on Saturday.
Temperatures will be in the upper 80s and lower 90s Monday through Wednesday of next week, NWS forecasters say.
