PHOTOS: Moving a 400,000 lb. historic train off the tracks to the Colorado Railroad Museum

A nearly 400,000 lb. tunnel motor locomotive with Rio Grande heritage was donated by the Union Pacific Railroad and is moving to a new home at the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden. On Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2018, Hulcher Services workers assembled temporary panel tracks to move the locomotive down 44th Ave in Golden after nearly 8 years of storage at MillerCoors.
