After two weeks of preseason games, the Broncos have dropped to 19th among NFL teams in terms of odds to win the Super Bowl, according to one oddsmaker.
Denver has 45-to-1 odds to win the Lombardi Trophy this year, tied with the Tennessee Titans. After the NFL draft, the Broncos were 33-to-1 favorites, and after signing Case Keenum, they had 25-to-1 odds.
New England remains the favorites at 6-to-1, followed by the Los Angeles Rams (17-to-2), the Pittsburgh Steelers (19-to-2) and Minnesota Vikings (19-to-2). The defending champions Philadelphia Eagles are fifth at 10-to-1.
Denver sits at No. 8 to win the AFC at 16-to-1. The team is also at the bottom in terms of winning the AFC West at 4-to-1, behind the Los Angeles Chargers (3-to-2), Kansas City Chiefs (53-to-20) and the Oakland Raiders (13-to-4).
A few positive notes: rookie linebacker Bradley Chubb is the favorite to win defensive rookie of the year at 4-to-1. All-Pro Von Miller (19-to-2) is fifth among players to win defensive player of the year. As for regular season MVP, Keenum is the sole Denver player on the list, coming in at 25th with 60-to-1 odds.
