Southwestern winds brought warmer, cleaner air to Colorado for Sunday and Monday.
Temperatures are expected to hover near 90 degrees Sunday and creep into the low 90’s Monday.
That’s the tradeoff, according to the folks at the National Weather Service in Boulder. Those southern winds pushed those smoke and hazy skies north, but the winds from Mexico and Baja, California also brought higher temperatures.
Things are expected to cool down Tuesday with temperatures peaking around 75 degrees. The rest of the week will start to feel ike a normal, early September in the Centennial State with highs in the low- to mid-80’s.
